Diasporas Now

Rieko Whitfield is the founding director and curator of Diasporas Now, an expanded performance platform for artists of the global majority. The platform was co-founded by Rieko Whitfield, Lulu Wang, and Paola Estrella in 2021 at the Royal College of Art.

The platform offers curated event production for partners like the Institute of Contemporary Arts, South London Gallery, Mimosa House, Reference Point at 180 The Strand, Harlesden High Street, NN Contemporary Art, Humber Street Gallery, and Somers Gallery, and academic services for educational institutions like the Royal College of Art, the University of the Arts London: Central Saint Martins, and the University of Cambridge.

Their 2023-2024 U.K. Tour was funded by the Arts Council England National Lottery Fund.
